The web tool and the Excel add-in. You can compare workbooks in your browser or compare in-context inside Excel, forever, with no account and nothing uploaded. You pay only for the desktop app (to own the full offline engine) or for hosted team features.
Is there an individual subscription?
No. If you’re a solo user who wants shared history and review, buy a single Team seat — it behaves exactly like a one-person team. Otherwise the free tools and the one-time desktop license cover individual use.
How does desktop “maintenance” work?
The $149 desktop license is perpetual — the app keeps working forever. The optional ~$49/year maintenance keeps you on the latest version with new formats and engine improvements. If maintenance lapses, your installed version still runs; you just stop receiving updates.
Can I buy through Microsoft?
Yes, if you’re on Microsoft 365 (work or school). Hosted seats are available through the Microsoft Marketplace, so the charge lands on your existing Microsoft invoice with no new vendor to onboard. Everyone else pays by card.
Do you offer self-hosted or air-gapped deployment?
Yes, on an annual contract sold directly. The whole platform runs inside your own network, so workbooks never leave it. Contact us for deployment support and pricing.
